Our Facilities
Equine Medical L.L.C. is based in a 4200-square-foot facility in Lowell, Michigan. The clinic consists of four stalls, two of which have been dedicated to intensive care patients. The intensive care stalls are located in direct view of the office and technical staff, such that patients are under continual surveillance during working hours. There is a Web Camera in the stalls to allow surveillance of patients from remote locations.
It was our goal in designing our clinic, to build a facility that was first and foremost safe for our patients, clients, and staff, as well as meeting the needs of an efficient work area that is pleasant to the eye and easy to disinfect and maintain.
Exam Area
The clinic consists of an exam area complete with stocks and all necessary equipment at close proximity, to allow for better diagnostic capabilities and safety for our patients.
Clinic Laboratory
The laboratory and pharmacy are located in close proximity of the exam area. This allows for more efficient use of staff and materials in our efforts to accurately and efficiently evaluate our patients and get them treated in a most expeditious manner.
Reception Area
The office area of the clinic consists of a reception area, business office, doctor’s office, and a client/staff break room.
Surgical Suite
A surgical suite with a connected recovery/induction room, allows for safe and efficient surgical procedures to be performed when necessary.
Parking Area
The parking area was designed for ease of trailering. No one should ever need to back up a trailer at the clinic. A gravel area was placed immediately outside the admittance door, to allow for safe loading and unloading of patients even when the weather is inclement
