in west Michigan that is dedicated exclusively to providing veterinary
care to horses.
- We are staffed with three full time equine veterinarians
and a full support staff, all dedicated to the well being of our
patients and clients.
Our office hours are:
- Monday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Tuesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- We offer both farm calls and office visits to accommodate
your needs. To schedule an appointment, please contact our office and
our support staff will help you schedule a convenient appointment. We
respect your busy schedule and try to keep our appointments punctual.
At times, however, unexpected events occur that cause us to alter our
original schedule. We encourage you to inquire about your appointment
status after 8:30 a.m. the day of your scheduled visit. If you are unable
to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
- A veterinarian
is available to provide health care services to your horse 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week. After hours, your call will be forwarded to the
doctor on call by our voice mail system. We have a new state of the art equine facility, complete with a surgical
suite, four hospital stalls, in house laboratory, and a compliment of
diagnostic capabilities including radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy,
and thermography.
- We offer an annual
education seminar held each January, a video library, and a biannual
informational newsletter.
- All of our veterinarians
and staff members have owned or exhibited horses.
- All of our veterinarians and technical staff are required
to attend at least 15 hours of continuing education annually to maintain
employment.
- To promote excellent equine health care, we offer
our own Wellness Program.
- We strive to provide each patient with the best possible
medical treatment available. Prompt payment is necessary to keep our
fees to a minimum for all clients. The high cost of preparing statements
has a direct effect on the cost of veterinary care. We ask you to help
us keep our fees lower by paying for your veterinary services when they
are provided. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover
Card.
